Proudly Serving The Entire Wasatch Front
Here at Lion Flow Seamless Gutters, we don’t just work in Northern Utah; we live here, raise our families here, and know this area inside and out. That’s why our service area stretches across both the Wasatch Front and Wasatch Back. From busy city streets like Ogden, Layton, and Salt Lake City to quiet mountain communities like Morgan, Park City, Huntsville, and Eden. We bring the same level of care to every home we visit. What Northern Utah Homeowners Call Us For
Your roof runs the same winter cycle as every other roof from Salt Lake up through Ogden, Layton, Brigham City, and Logan. Snow melts during the day and refreezes overnight, and that repetition builds ice dams along the eaves. We install heat tape across Davis, Weber, and Box Elder counties, plus the southern end of Cache County.
Roof Heat Tape Installation
Around 90 percent of the roofs in this area are asphalt shingle, and ice dams tend to start in the same places on them. Cable runs along the eaves, up the rakes, and through the valleys. Valleys that drain into a low-pitch section get extra attention, since that is where water sits and refreezes. Metal roofs get standing seam clips instead of the grip clips used on shingles.
Gutter and Downspout Heat Cable
Water freezes inside a gutter as readily as it freezes on the roof above it, so a roof-only install leaves half the problem in place. We run cable through the gutter trough and down the downspout to hold the drainage path open. Cable guards go at the turns, where friction wears through the outer coating over several seasons.
Heat Tape Replacement and Ice Dam Removal
Old cable stops putting out heat, and big-box kits often quit after a season or two. We pull the failed system and install professional-grade cable in its place, with clips that hold position through Northern Utah freeze and thaw. If ice has already built up along your roof edge, we clear the dam first so the new cable goes onto a clean roofline.
